I started from...

When I started working as Marketing Manager for Islamic Online University, I prepared a rough planning for my Promotional Strategy with the help of what little knowledge I had of Digital Marketing.

I decided to make accounts in major Social networking Websites. For example I made an account in Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn each.

Twitter:
http://twitter.com/mediaiou is my account in Twitter. Twitter is a Micro Blogging Website, which allows you to post your status in minimum possible word counts. This is an effective way to deliver your message in seconds without much of your efforts.

Youtube:
http://youtube.com/mediaiou is my account in Youtube. Youtube is a vedio sharing website, where you can upload your videos and share them with people around the internet. As a regular Youtube user, you get maximum 15 minutes upload for a video and likewise you can upload videos of 100MB maximum (in the lifetime as regular Youtuber, I guess). Well, that's not so bad. Atleast you can utilize the space for free, thank God :)

Facebook:
http://facebook.com/islamiconlineuniversity is my account in Facebook. Facebook is truly a revolution of the era. Here you can connect with so many Fans for your page, free, awesome. You can post your latest updates and news for your thousands of fans to read in single attempt. So far, Islamic Online University has biggest social circle in Facebook. So its the best medium to deliver your message in a single attempt.

http://www.linkedin.com/company/islamic-online-university is my account in LinkedIn. This is yet another wonderful opportunity for individuals and organizations to connect and grow their professional experiences.


So, these were the basic and initial accounts I made for Islamic Online University to let the people know about new budding organization.
